Phone Settings & Security

Cell phone security is a huge issue and is constantly taken for granted. Here are some ways you can almost guarantee your phone won't get hacked. (There's always exceptions to the rule or else hackers wouldn't exist)

1.) Turn your WiFi and Bluetooth off when you aren't actively using them. All smart phones are user friendly now and allow you to access device settings very quickly without ever having to go deep into your settings. Depending on your phone type, you can be assured that your Bluetooth is off by simply tapping it once to unhighlight it. This can be done with many of your network settings such as NFC, WiFi, Hotspot, Mobile Sharing, Location, and many more when you pull your screen down from the top or slide it to the left.

An Easy Way to Create a Resume from Scratch

You don't have to be a graphic designer to create a resume that is good enough to land any job or, at the very least get you started in your job search.

The very first thing I'd do is create an email address you can check easily from your phone, tablet, or a computer. Very rarely do companies reach out through phone first, they usually send a hot email requesting information from you as you begin the interview process. I personally think Google is the best email provider for one simple reason, it's compatible with everything. It also includes some cool features that will actually aid you in your resume building process (I will expand on that shortly). If you already have a google or preferred email address then you are all set to start applying...but first, resume.
